Hey as some of you may already know im picking up a new bright as hell yellow RGV250, and so what im kinda wanting is the whole yellow/black bumblebee kinda apparel going on, but im not sure if theres any manufactures out there that do like a custom yellow vs black jacket/pants combo.

Something affordable and comfy would be nice. Id only wear it on long rides to stand out, would be neat. Lol.

Cheers guys lol xD

if you don't want a huge bill and reasonable gear (not top of line from experience) but prolly good enough http://www.lifestyle-imports.co.nz/shop/index.php?cPath=40_59 - we had some of their gear and it survived at least one of grubs offs ...

No way man. If an animal didn't die for your protective gear, it's crap.

Gidday, i still have a few yellow/black joe rocket cordura jakets. I think i have 1 small 1 med and 1 xl left. $299 each. I Will be able to confirm when i get back to CHCH on the 19th and send you a pic. Its decent gear, has good armour. I have seen more than a few go down the road and while the jackets have worn through the outer layer and into the armour i have not had anyone complain about the protection offered. Its warm enough for southern winters, has good vents and a removable liner for summer, weather resistant and a nice style.

The alternative of course is protective gear that doesn't wear through to the armour. I know which I would prefer.

what denier is the cordura?
Can you define 'good armour' ?

My jacket is a textile/leather joe rocket, and although I couldn't tell you the denier, it is definitely quality. It cost a damn sight more than $299 aswell, but I'm guessing these ones are going cheap 'coz not so many people want the yellow ones.

The armour is CE approved, not the rubbish soft cell foam that comes in the cheaper jackets.
Off the top of my head i can not tell you the denier but will check that when i get back to CHCH

As for the price its not about the colour more to do with the quantity that i purchased off the supplier (before they went direct to the public) and my desire to move them on and no longer be associated with their company (since they are now direct to the public and offer no dealer backup anymore). The original retail price of these jackets was $450 incl gst.

Yea its really good stuff. Shame about the Aust/nz distributor going direct as he is now selling nothing here in NZ and about the same in Aust. Burn your dealers and they will do the same to you.
My personal choice in cordura is now the SHIFT range. I have a shift avenger jacket and its fantastic but not available in YELLOW/BLACK.

I'm not so sure... now I get his brands from him, instead of getting them from the states.

Just because it is CE doesnt mean its good, there are two CE certifiers, Satra (shit) and Cambridge (the best) Satra is the cheap jackets, and example of Cambridge is KNOX , which is the best.
