Just got the email on these - If I didn't already have a Rev-it jacket in good order I'd be up for one:

I've been in rev-it gear for around 6 years now and the linings in the leather pants are still intact. Good value for money stuff.

I have revit pants. Comfortable and they crash well. Held together by duct tape now

Still a non-waterproof outer shell... lets the rain in, and then there are less thermal properties...

Hard to find a Revit with a waterproof outer shell, they seem to prefer making all seasons jackets, same with my current, the Expedition.

Would the extra money for the 'Sand' jacket/pants be worth it?

REVIT 'Sand' Jacket
The Revit 'Sand' Jacket is all new for 2010 and is a vast improvement over its predecessor - The Dakar/Offtrack Combo

Waterproof inner liner works fine (on my Radar model) though - advantage is as you say - it's all seasons.

Waterproof pockets on the ADV is a plus too.

Silence is Golden. Duct tape is silver. :-)

I have the Sand jacket and it is great. Wouldn't have minded that kind of discount though!
