Hey I'm looking to service the front forks on both bikes and with limited budget can't afford to buy a front yoke stand.
Has anyone got one I could measure up to make or supply me with some key measurements? I have always made all my own gear so looks like the best way for me.

Come on, they're not that expensive.

Yep I know but I like making things :woohoo:
I could make one for $20 parts plus my labour so there is $125 left over for gas:yes:
And maybe a box of beer.

Yeah I like making things to, but I decided a while ago that my time isn't worth nothing.

A friend of mine adapted his DIY Workbench with 4 clamps and some tubular steel.

Beats watching TV though!!
Can always hang the bike from the rafters like a lot of people do

Rear swingarm paddock stand (mine, essential if you don't have a main stand) Jack under the headers, borrowed car axle stands placed under the frame sliders. Release pressure on the headers - hey presto, super stable with the front end free.
And ditto re house of custom jobbie at that price - the time you'd take pissing around making one would be well over their asking price.

Just realised that the yoke stand will be no good for servicing the steering head bearings so I will be making the pipe frame to lift from overhead.
Should be too easy:yes:

Nice... Google around for the 'Abba' stand, be a piece of piss for you to knock one up, and it'll lift the back or front wheel (and let you remove the triples).
