Hello kiwibiker forums!
I thought i better do the obligatory introduction thread.
I've been riding about 6 months on a 1990 Yamaha SR250k, goes alright, done over 10,000ks in it so far even taken it up to auckland and back a couple of times. So far ive had to do the head gasket and the chain & sprockets, also had to replace the headlight and a couple of indicators after i learnt my lesson about invisible gravel on the desert road . The seat's pretty uncomfortable (i guess theyre designed for little japanese people) and it has shit drum brakes but for a first bike I'm perfectly happy with it
May this post mark the beginning of a great new forum lurking career
And may the combined cubic capacity of all the bikes i acquire throughout this career always exceed my post count, as this is the way things are meant to be. 249 to go before its time to upgrade!
