my GSXR feels heavy in the corners and even just picking it up off the stand.
today i chucked the girl on the back and went for a ride and it felt lighter and more flowing in the corners. i had suspected my shocks were set wrong for me would this confirm it? and can adjustments be made in the "shed"?

If you are seated too far forward on your bike - this will make it a bit twitchy when cornering hard. Slide your arse back as far as you are able, and also make sure you are completely off the brakes and roll a gentle amount of power on immediately after or even during the roll into the corner. Also make sure you are not gripping the bars really firmly - loosen your grip and steer with very light bar pressure with limp wrists, and support your forward weight with your back muscles. Also check that all your weight is actually on the seat, because there's a tendency with some folk to stand up and heavily weight the footpegs, especially if they are moving around on the seat.
