Well i had a disaster at a recent moto tt track day with a rear puncture on the first lap.
one of the lines riders came up beside me just as i was about to pull off track half way round as i knew the bike felt very weird(ive never had a puncture before) to tell me he had watched my rear tyre go down!
there was a small hole where a nail / screw had been in the centre of the tread
so waited for the recovery truck, and then another disaster, the bike fell over on the trailer, smashed the screen and scratched the rear cowl.
chris mitchell from promoto / moto tt, took my bike off the trailer, pushed it into a garage, repaired the tyre for me with my own dog turds
then took my details and promised to sort out my cowl and send me a new screen aswell as giving me a free day with moto tt.
I had to ride home and send the cowl for a repaint. Came back all shiny and repaired along with a flash new screen.
Great communication from Chris throughout this and he took responsibility for their error of not tying the bike down properly. I was well looked after and chris did what he could to help. So I'm very happy about that, customer support was excellent so they deserve a mention regarding this. Well done moto tt and Chris Mitchell especially.
I was still pissed off i didnt get on track but the nightmare was dealt with very well.
ive had the tyre vulcanised now so hopefuly it will be ok.
