After a non-riding week and a bit, found my electric start a bit weakened so had to kickstart it.
First kickstart! :headbang:
Feel like a real biker now.

:yes:sometimes I couldn't kick start my old Suzuki so I would run down the hill with it and jump on it and let the clutch out - good fun!

Good luck finding one. They're very rare. :)

That reminds me of the time when all three of my vehicles would not start,I ended up calling in sick. :D

With that kind of luck, I think that was wise.

A while ago I had to resort to trying that with my old SV650, on our gravel drive way, that slopes downhill rather steeply...... didn't work the first time.... or the second time... or the third time... (funny how I didn't get much traction off the gravel aye?) I was completely fu@ked by then. Pushing it back up the hill is bloody tiring. Luckily a passing farmer took pity on me and used his tractor and some jumper leads to get me going again. A kick start would have been a nice back up option. Although given my luck at that stage, it probably would have kicked back and broken my leg

Crap, I somehow left my lights on and my key in my bike the other day and walked off from it (was in my garage), im sure the insurance company would love that, but anyways I found the next day the battery was dead, it was at that point and time I WISHED for a kick start haha, I never knew how hard it was to bump start a 160kilo sports bike :L

 I certainly wouldn't want to try it with anything bigger than my old Suzuki which was a 125cc Mudbug

Only time I've ever roll started a bike was the little GN250 - just ever so conveniently a delivery bloke pulled up in his truck and was able to give me a push. Couldn't get enough momentum up paddling along straddling it!
