Hey, ive got a mechanic fixing my bike, he had to replace the oil in it as the altanator cover was replaced, he filled it with 2.7 litres of oil, does any one know what the correct amount of it is because i dont want it to be overfilled

Well the manual says 2.6, so you should be ok. I'm assuming that's without a filter change.

There is a link to a manual on the site somewhere, just do a search.

Is there not a dip stick or oil window you can check if the level is right with? I've never seen a bike without one.

nah, the missus cut the dipstick off coz it was hangin in the oil

should be sweet with 2.6L as said, get someone to hold the bike upright (not on side stand) and check the oil window. Its a little round window on the right hand side of the bike near the bottom of the engine. Might have to take the fairings off to see it.

Here is the proper answer, 2.1Litres when the filter isnt removed, 2.55 when the filter is removed and 2.6litres when the engine is dry.

done.
