All letters, no numbers. Would suit someone who rides a Ninja or a martial artist.
I have paperwork for proof of ownership. They are currently car plates but can be remade into bike plates.
If you're interested drop me a PM. Price is negotiable.
Cheers,
John

Something tells me you didn't think about the resale value when you bought it.

What does NEDWN mean?
Well I guess it means what it means to you, as it's worth what it's worth in the next owner's eyes. :)

I see... Yeah I was trying to figure out what it meant - Any Down? Ned Win? Ned Won? Guess I got it but didn't realise it was a family name. :P

Whats a NINPO?
NINPOPOOP ?
If the seller can find a 'Mr Ninpo' and he happens to be a wealthy NZ businessman, then he can name his price.
Otherwise, it's worth nothing at all and the case of beer offer is overly generous
BTW: http://www.ninpo.org/ninpo/ninpo.html
"Ninpo is a group of related martial traditions that have developed in Japan since the ancient period (before the 12th century), and that have been combined in the modern period under one comprehensive martial system. This system includes the eighteen martial skills (bugei juhappan) for the common bushi (warrior), and another group of eighteen unconventional types of martial skills (ninja juhakkei) for special warfare. Another component of Ninpo, in addition to these thirty-six martial skills, is a unique world view, thought and philosophy, and esoteric practices. This world view emphasizes the defensive nature of Ninpo, and the need to have a compassionate heart."

Not everyone buys a plate with their name on it... Thanks for your 2c though.
How sure are you on what it's worth? Dare you put your money where your mouth is for a $100 wager it sells for more than $100 if I put it on $1 reserve on Trade Me? That's 5 times more than the cost of an "overly generous offer". :)

...and I'm sure if such a bet took place you wouldn't put one of your mates up to bidding just to collect the $100 eh?
I'd snatch the arm off the guy offering the box of beer while he's still pissed

My integrity is worth much more than that, but fair enough you don't know me personally. The best I could do to assure you of my honesty is that there won't be a relisting of the auction. It sells for what it sells for. If there're any precautions you want to take I'll be happy to discuss as well.
Meh, I'm going to put it on $1 reserve anyway if it hasn't sold by September (or earlier) as I'm headed overseas permanently.
Let me know if you're keen to back your statement up.

None of that would be necessary as I wouldn't even offer you the $1 reserve for "NINPO"...what does it mean?
I will pay you $1 for it right now

Aha - a challenge.
It would be unfair of me to accept.
Some qualified advice for you: Throwing mud at the wall is unlikely to stick, without an extreme amount of good fortune.
If you really want to sell the number plate and get a decent price for it, you really do need to target it at a group able to see its potential value.
That won't be on Trademe or Kiwibiker

Well well.
Since two of you are so sure it won't go for more than $1, let me make an offer to the both of you.
For every $1 above $100 that the plate fetches on Trade Me, you donate $10 to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal (http://www.christchurchearthquakeappeal.govt.nz/). For every dollar below $100 the plate sells for, I will pay $20 towards the appeal. Heck, I'll even donate the proceeds from the sale to the appeal.
For proof of payment, use a screenshot after payment is made and post it up.
How's that? Great way to raise funds for a good cause. Christchurch will be the only winners in this case, and one of us will be the loser(s). If you truly believe I'll be the loser in this case, take me up on my offer and make my week a little more interesting. :)
I'm more than happy to make the donation if I lose, you guys can even come watch me do the transfer online if you want to. Like I mentioned earlier, put your money where your mouth is. Pure speculation is no fun. :(

Come on guys get off his back! totally unprovoked
To be honest after reading what ninpo actually means, I would've bough the plate if I had a ninja.
Not that I'm a fan of personalized plates though

Thanks fatboy323.
Nobody cared enough to back up their opinion, so thank you all for the petty e-fight, and we'll move on shall we?
I'll just leave this here, drop me a PM (I'll get an email notification) if you're interested. I'll put it up for a $1 reserve auction some time in July/September if it hasn't sold by then.
Cheers all.

No one's gonna buy it on here so why don't you just do your little $1 reserve, post the Trade Me link here and give us another good laugh.
Forget July...keep the entertainment going and do it now
