Winter Drag Wars just announced - dates are:

15th May
29th May
19th June
3rd July
17th July
31st July

Gates Open at 10am
Track Opens at 11.30am
$15 per person (under 12 free)
$30 race entry

I loved the dragwars (even won it a few years back , oops, no that was the nightwars) but last time I went they tried to kick me out because of a couple of pathetic little wheelies (unintentional) so I'm a bit reluctant to go back.
Are they still like this?

Well couldn't say ,if they deem it to be dangerous then they would certainly ask you to refrain or leave. The winter drags are a great way to have ago ,you get heaps of runs in , and all for only $45 for the day.:yes:

nah i was accidentaly doin quite lare wheelies on my first few runs tryn to get the balance right, they were fine with it, and the crowd loves wheelies.

Last nightwars top 3 times of the night went to

My new project bike will be ready soon - do I actually have to have a WOF to compete? my bike is totally safe -but not road registered. It will be a competition bike.

In a word YES , the winter series and night wars are street meets and you must have reg and wof to be able to race, but they MAY let you do some passes but not against anyone.
