BUT... (http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/top-stories/9297901/sickness-beneficiaries-crackdown-begins/) :killingme :crybaby:   Social Development Minister Paula Bennett said. "There's no penalty if people can't find work, the requirement is to genuinely look for a job, but you won't find one if you're not looking."

Sickness beneficiaries are on the chopping block.
That'll never sell; their meat is all diseased.
Wait - you don't have to work if your sick?
Fuck why have I been worried all these years?
Gonna go get me some Ebola...

What's wrong with:
Sickness beneficiaries found to be fit for work will be obligated to look for a job from today onward.

Nothing wrong with it at all, and you're right, it does make perfect sense. Perhaps they should have told sickness beneficiaries sooner, i'm sure they would have sprant out and started looking for jobs instead of being on the sick for extended periods of time

We're not talking about the sick ones.
Various governments having been using sickness benefits to disquise long term unemployment. If you aren't sick, and aren't working you should be on the dole.

All True. I'm sure those pretending to be sick will suddenly change their minds and fall over themselves to get back into the workplace.
our local court news is usually full of sickness beneficiaries

Love the thread title  Got this mental picture of all these sick people, coughing and sneezing whilst lining up for the chopping block, hope the executioner has a bio-hazard suit.
