I ordered one of those, a CDI and coil to go with it last week for the F5 bike I'm building for Michelle. They haven't turned up yet so no idea if it will work / fit.
I'll do a trial fit when they get here and let you know how it goes.

As an aside I'm still looking for an FXR roller to fit the engine into, have more pieces missing than there at the moment if anyone has one to spare.

Well those bits don't fit on the XL motor with the points on the end of the cam taper on the aftermarket rotor is way too big and the staor plate wants to mount in completely the wrong place and won't fit.
They may fit on the later models with the external as opposed to internal rotor and the points on the stator plate.
Not sure that I'll be able to make it fit at all on the engine I plan on using, looks like an expensive paper weight at this stage, I could lob the lot at Rick since he has the later model engine to see if that will work, if he is willing to try it in the interests of increasing the knowledge pool.

I think you will find they fit the lay down motors only

Passed the bits on to Rick today. Hopefully they fit the later model 100s but I'm not that confident.

I did manage to get the Inner rotor kit to fit on my sons XL 100 ..Same crank taper so just had to drill holes to mount the back plate and then play for ages to get it timed up not knowing where the ignition fires..

The Coil failed after about 4 races and the threads pulled out of the ally parts but easy fix up .
all the wire fittings (spade terminals) are made from shit so cut them off and crimp good ones on .
The motor spins up great with the inner rotor being so small and light ...
