Reregistering a lapsed bike?

Hey all, was wondering if anyone had experience with re registering a bike thats rego has lapsed.

I am buying a friends FZR250 for very cheap as an ongoing project, good runner good kms just needs a fairing tidy up and repaint, but was wondering what I would have to do to re register it .

Registration lapsed and was cancelled as it was not renewed, it is in WOFable condition but guessing there will be a few small things i need to do.

How much does re registration cost?
