Has any one fitted a different rear shock to a Rg50 that works better than the original but fits in the same spot? Maxed out on the hardest setting so its a pogo stick with no dampening.

Modded older RM80 shock will work

front and rear suspention from an older RS honda
wheels from same bike
frame and tank and any other parts that might fit :innocent:
just throw the engine in an RS frame :shutup::innocent:

yeah good luck with finding one.
With no damping they feel soft. Spring should be ok unless yer a bloater.
RMS (chris) modded an old RM80 shock for me ages back.
You can in the meantime drill a small hole on the bottom where it won't get knocked off by the linkage (ie: other side) braze on a tire valve & pump out old oil & suck in some 10W, see that it will still compress & close the valve.

I have bought an rs in Aus ,for a F4 bike. Just have to get it over here. Looked all over for a roller here, with no luck.
