Hey everyone,

I am wanting to get set up with speakers in my helmet, intercom, bluetooth, mounts, wireless music reciever and radar detector. I am not sure how they all fit together. I have looked at everything but am wondering what is the best way to set up all of this. What are the best brands and how have other people got all this set up? I have a Caberg Justissimo GT helmet which apparently can fit in intercom etc.
Thanks for the help and I hope ive made it clear what im trying to do here :)

Cheers,

Matt

You've basically got two core options. A wired system, or wireless. If you go wireless (bluetooth is common) then everything has to be wireless, that you want to connect to, or alternatively, plug into something that is wireless, and can manage the device. If it can't, then you'll need to be satisfied with a visual cue (thinking RD here) or loud screamer type setup.

Personally, for ultimate reliability I'd be looking at a Baehr setup. Look through it's range to see what you'd need re components, but it's not going to be cheap...

I used this guy. He has a fairly large range and can put it all together for you at a pretty good price.

In saying that, we have hardly used it and mic mounting point is critical to get a clear voice signal.

Cheers for the feedback. Still finding it hard to get something that does what I want :( The link above was helpful but the website isn't the best so may ring them.
Thanks for the help so far :)

I tried all sorts with setting up the radar dector on the bike.

The best solution I use is a wired set of 'Plugs 4 Lugs' ear plugs. These are fitted ear plugs with cables connecting into a 3.5mm sound plug for radar/ipod or what ever etc.
Takes care of the back ground or wind noise while riding, with any sound from the unit clear as being piped directly into my ear.

When your riding a motorcycle, thats all you want to do.I wait till im sitting in my lounge to listen to music etc, All I want to hear when im riding is the sound of the bike.
