After seeing 'Beemers' pic of her bike, it made me think of the SoS Racing (Sound of Singles) that was around a few years ago. A race for single cylinder machines. I don't know if it was just an Aussie thing, but I haven't heard of it for ages. Anyone heard whether it still happens. It sounds like an interesting class of racing. Should sound good as well. :ride:

The Yanks certainly do it. Great classes I reckon. Probably a cheapish form of racing that more could get in to.
Its called formula 3 in NZ :)
You can race open capacity single cylinder 4 strokes there.

Gavin Friswell built a really nice chassis and put a honda 500(?) RFVC engine in it when I was in Perth, around 1989. Went pretty well with him on it.
