Great choice of bike the Virago..... I  mine.

Ok Check out Red Baron in Auckland.. they usually have a few in stock of both types of bikes..

Hi debz,

I'm selling my XV250 Virago now that I have a full licence. It is a 1993 model, with 26,000kms on the clock. It comes with a sissy bar and a large expandable pack which will fit securely to the sissy bar. It has been regularly serviced since I bought it last October, and is in good condition.

I'm asking $3500 for it. If you are interested, PM me and we can arrange for a demo.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

-SW

Cheers thank you for your help, just trying to cope with getting around the site let alone figuring out how to PM someone, but Im getting there. They are very nice looking bikes and so low for my short legs, much lower than a horse.

Go try some bikes out at some bike shops, or some of your freinds before you buy one. make sure you know what you want. It was important to me that my first bike was comfortable for me and that i felt i could handle wieght and size fine.

Talked to Waikato Yamaha today. They have a 04 model I think in there right now going for $8k or there abouts. Not as nice as Slashwylde's though and his comes with more stuff.
