Hi all, Electric starter does not work at all on the machine, so looking into what the issue is as the battery is pretty much new. So checked the fuse and its fine but conected to the battery is a little black box, it has a cover over it and when taken off has like 4 little metal prongs? what is this please? hope i have explained it well enough..

But it is not one of the ones that you have to hold the brake lever in to start is it?

I might be miss understanding something here so correct me if i am. But with the Suzuki SJ50QT, you do have to pull the back brake lever in before the starter will work (on my SJ50 you do anyway). Sorry if its a stupid question, but are you pulling the back brake lever in?
And the little black box you are talking about im assuming is housed inside the battery bay, behind the battery? If so. Thats the Starter Relay.
Hope i helped.

Deja Vue all over again (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php/138193-What-are-these-Suzuki-SJ50QT) :)
I'd go with a starter relay too.
