About 7am this morning it wasnt too bad, Had the bike parked in the car park at work and at about 10am I had to go out and rescue it from the wind haha, was wobbling around a bit and when I got to it, it was pretty close to coming away from the side stand, Was a real prick coming home too, the portabello road was closed and its pretty well fucked up, and the high road was windy as fuckkkkk

I towed a scissor-lift down to Sawyers Bay at 9.00am (safely in the work cage) - dodging tree branches on the way. After I left Hirepool they lost part of their roof.

On the way back at 10:30 I was dodging whole trees and power lines. Watching water-spouts forming on the harbour was pretty cool though.

I would hate to be on a bike today.

one of my boys is playing for the Otago/Southland (Southern) u21 hockey team and their tournament is at the turf this week so i took the week off work and there are free bike parks opposite the turf, first i couldnt get the garage door opener to open the door as the wind was twisting it, then the bike almost got blown over while i was putting my helmet on then i was blown all over the road heading down the one way.

Had the wind behind me on the way in, although I don't think that would stand up in court. Fast trip anyway. Have to park on street now but can see the bike from the office so was up and down for most of the morning. It stayed standing. I nearly got blown off my feet walking down Princes Street about 10ish. Was alright but impossible to light a fag.

Hoping to get blown off shortly.

dont think you are allowed to call them "fags" any more, shouldnt really be setting them on fire either!!

I decided to shift my VFR beside the bosses car, I figured he has a company car and I finished before him...,

Try living in Wellington with no car licence and riding to work everyday regardless of the weather. It's a blast!

No thanks. We all know it is windy in Wellington for one reason only.
