so the moral of the story is don't que in line behind a truck with limited rear vision
bummer dude rip
Holly shit! Bet he feels pretty bloody bad right now.
If there was no way for him to have seen the bike behind him, I hope he isn't jailed for it. Coroners report should clear him if that's the case though.

So we are doing it to ourselves now ... brings new meaning to "I didn't see the bike officer", doesn't it! RIP biker.

Trucks should have signs on the back warning people that if you can't see their mirrors they can't see you!
I am a genius

What I can't understand is, I'm sure the truck driver didn't stick it in reverse and floor it.
What was the motorcyclist doing? Having a nap?

And in MC forums the world over....people will be casting doubts on the actions of the dead biker - rather than someone reversing into him.
Might have to wait till more details come out me thinks....

If its the same accident reported on another site (sorry, lost the link) The truck was waiting at a toll booth - the driver saw a smaller queue and decided to head for it.
The mirrors thing does not wash - a reversing camera costs peanuts and he should have checked.
