I kid you not. I went out this morning, jumped in and started running a couple of cylinders short. Those of you who have met me will realise this is usually the case, but this time it was the car. I popped the bonnet open and what do my little peepers spot?

Is the bastard hungry or looking for a new home? I had to pull off the intake plumbing to make sure there was no wildlife in residence. To add insult to injury, the bastard had attacked the fusebox as well as using the bonnet lining as a hammock.

Needless to say, I went and checked the bikes carefully straight away. No damage there, but sleep lightly everyone. Ratty and his friends may be eyeing YOUR bike tonight.

Well you're doing it all wrong. You're supposed to give them a home and some food.

I'm overrun with the bastards at the moment. In to my seed store and eaten the whole of next season. Chewed the shit out of a high chair. Hate to think what they are doing to the wiring in the roof.
Managed to spank one over the fence with a spade this morning, which was a bit of payback. For the rat and the neighbour.

Same here Berries. The bastards are turning up faster than I can exeterminate them. Mice too...
PS: It is a little known fact that rats of good taste and discernment prey on Subarus.

Leave a little pottle of peanut butter under your hood, and lace it with all the chems you can get your hands on, the furry little fucks love peanut butter, and apparently engine coolant does a pretty nasty job of their insides.

The down side of baiting the car is I am sure the bastard will not be back at the car after what I called him. He is, no doubt, lurking outside the window plotting revenge for the insults heaped upon him and his family.
The bike is guarded by baits now. The car lives out in the rain and can look after itself. It is me I am worried about. After the slaughter of his rellies over the past two weeks it may be personal. I may have to use the wife as a sacrificial goat (so to speak). Hmm. If I poison her, then shove the body outside, they may fall for that...

Be grateful at least he spat the rest out...they're probably using your car for warmth... I used to find ratshit all over the engine bay of my RX2 when I was a Canterbury farmer... we all now how cold that place is eh?

A mate of mine made his own rat trap
it used a 410 shell in a kind of T shaped trap
rat goes in BOOM! remains fly out
Hence his name for it

The bastard came back for seconds... This morning I discovered he had ignored the trap, eaten half the rat bait block, then gone on to snack on the air filter cover and fuse cover.
There must be something 'more-ish' about a Subaru.
More dastardly traps await him tonight. (Insert evil laugh here)
