Why would anyone put a baby in a microwave oven and turn it on?

I saw this in the paper the other day. I'm no shrinking violet, and I have seen and read some pretty horrific things in my day but this turned my stomach.

At least life there, means life. Not in pc NZ, where she would be out in 10 years.

Farrrrk.
The mitigating evidence - which reduced her sentencing - was that she was drunk ?? !!
Prohibition within 20 years at this rate.

Booze drugs and a limited to non existant emotional intelligence = disaster... Shit like this is the tip of a very nasty ice berg. OK - it was a baby which is horrific but deads dead and it matters not if the instrument is a needle, a gun or a microwave...
but what did it taste like ?
:shit:

Brings me back to the abortion thread. Better to abort than zap later in a microwave

Aint that the truth..... sigh....
I tell you - it just plain breaks my heart to see these poor dumb kids morally adrift like this. What a fuckin waste of potential...

There are so many unloved kids brought into this world that end up getting hurt/killed by unloving resentful parents, that there's no stronger argument for abortion.

Abortion will have some effect, but not much...
What we need is CRS, Compulsory Reversible Sterilisation, for everyone at birth. Once you've proven that you are capable of being a 'parent' you may the reversal.

yea or one child policy like china. the sterilisation idea would be great but would come at great cost too.

Yup ya need a licence to do everything else in life, why not one before being permitted to breed?
Proving suitability to be a parent should to be mandatory before being allowed to make little people.

Which tribe is going to forfeit potential tax paying workers entering the system, causing the pyramid collapse. Collateral damage is usually acceptable but it all seems to be on the increase. So sad, poor baby.
Maybe things aint so bad nowadays. Imagine some of the colonial homes, education and physical abuse that has gone on for the last 150 years. Fuck, when I lived down Port Waikato in the 1980's my neighbour was trying to force his 13 year old daughter on me. Yep he had big sticky outy ears.

Yep - you need one for a dog. Plenty of poor dog owners out there...
Anyway, lets focus on what is achievable.
We need to licence all microwaves and make everyone attend an OSH approved microwave course.
Which leads me to the next question - given that many stay at home parents claim that theirs is 'work' that means their house is a 'workplace'.
Have they filled out a kitchen hazards register? Are they using appropriate PPE?
Do thet put out a slippery surfaces warning sign when they mop the floor?
The tragedy of one death can be addressed by totally focussing on everything else...
