Well my experiences thus far have not been good. I purchased a few products (bike bits etc for a bucket) from their website http://www.alexwarehouse.com/ on the 7th of March. Received an email on the 14th that my order had been upgraded to processing.
That was the last I have heard, have since tried emailing them half dozen times, just today tried calling them on all of the phone numbers they have listed, none of which are in service. Even tried skyp-ing their help line, again nothing.
So ever the optimist I am hoping that they are just a company with the worst ever customer relations.
Has anyone out there used or heard off this place before and actually received goods from them?

Can only tell you that from web searches, they appear to have been around at least a year, so that's something...

Maybee their bad customer service & slow shipping times is what helps them to give you the "best shipping prcie in 2011"
Tho I don't like their pricing scheme, I think I'd prefer the retail
Retail price: US$0.00
Wholesale Price: US$ 26.00

On their homepage is this
AWH manages small warehouses in China
That alone is enough reason for me to think SCAM.

I have a friend who lives in Hong Kong, she tried the number from her end and still invalid, she is going to have a look at the physical address they have listed on their website for me, see whether they actually exist or not!
I paid through paypal, I don't think there's any chance I can get my money back?

You may have left it too late, but try thePayPal dispute system. I received a refund from them for non delivered goods.

I have not had much experience with buying stuff overseas, but in the pase have dealt with well known companies. I do hope that your parts turn up. (They may have used the "best price" for shipping and sent them surface. I had some small parts take 4 months to turn up from the states coz I saved about $4.00 on postage.
Or... the other scenario
Probably see your parts on "Border Patrol" packed full of methamphetamine or tigers testicles....

Just had a look at the website, you are a braver man than i am, I would never order anything from them, the site certain does not inspire confidence at all.
