Yes we have. With the greatest respect unless you have all of the correct tools and specific training that also highlights the pitfalls dont attempt it, because the chances of it not being right are very high. We had a guy come in the other day who had changed the oil in his own MX shock and wanted it gassed. Hed installed incorrect oil and overfilled it so that the gas bladder was compacted out of shape.
This is not like a flatpack furniture kitset where its going to sit in your lounge with a maximum velocity of 0 km/hour.

If they are leaking or failing to adjust (a common problem on the GSX1400) and if money permits, I'd change them mate. They were never much good out of the crate and spending all that time and effort at best will only get you back to so so shocks. That's assuming all goes well with the servicing. Of course if you can't afford new ones then you have little choice but I'd seriously get a price from a professional if you're not 100% on what you're doing.Good luck with them

Hey Marty, yeah no all about earlier probs with pre load adjusters:angry:. (K5 on sorted):woohoo:
Mine are all fine but on 64k you can imagine what they must be like on the inside,:shit:
So i'll see what they're like after a service and then go from there.

Cheers
