Just posting this in case.

Was on my way back from work tonight and found myself beside an oldish white ute with a partially covered red (maybe orange) sportsbike on the back. Seemed odd at 2255 on a Friday night

Could be perfectly innocent....

good spotting.
Perhaps, after a week or so, nothing transpires from this - delete that licence plate from your post?? (assumed innocent after one week?)

Green repped ya, I dislike people posting other peoples information and just leaving it there, deleting the post or plate number after a week is a very good idea.

Hopefully someone was just helping someone else out or something along those lines haha.

That is the best way, they can run the plates while you're on the phone.
Did that last weekend, there was a Subaru parked outside our place for about 24 hours (very strange) rang the plate through (just in case) they said ''yes its rego'd to someone in Snells Beach'' turns out, it was the neighbours...

Good stuff everyone here. You would appreciate it if your bike had been stolen, and it is no big deal if you were just moving it yourself. Also good advice re: privacy and deleting details in a wekk.

Logged a job with the police so if anyone notices their bike missing come Monday morning it should already be on file when they call. So I've taken the rego off the thread now but I still have it if anyone needs it.
