The last I heard we were all going to join forces behind him, paint our faces blue, dress up in kilts and storm the Beehive shouting 'Freedom for Bikers' in a Scottish type voice.

Then we were going to get Dr Smith, cut his danglies off and nail them to the Beehive Flag Pole...

Then we were going for a pint somewhere to celebrate...

I thought there was going to be a revolution, bikers were going to burn the Beehive, regos would be rolled up and stuck up REAL peoples arses this time....

Did it ever happen...??

Just wondered thats all cos he was fun

He's gone undercover. Currently a national MP, planning to wreck havoc from the inside.

Seems to be working.

Ain't it funny how online personae can quite often differ from the actual people, the human beings in "real life". Raises many an interesting question about what is real and what isn't; what is kosher internet etiquette and what should be taken with a grain of salt. Some people firmly believe that "it's just the internet" therefore you can say anything and damn the consequences; other people at the opposite end of the spectrum try to maintain and uphold values and behaviours the same as they do in "meatspace"; and then there are many somewhere in the middle of those two polarities.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. And if your opinion is based purely on what you've seen/experienced on this particular forum, that will form the basis of your opinion. If you have met someone from this forum at a politically motivated meeting where people are pushing one agenda or another, that will colour your perception or further develop your opinion. And if you meet someone from this forum on a social ride, that will also change how you view that person. And, again, there are an infinite number of myriad variances between those three examples. The wonders of being human, of human interaction, I suppose.

My opinion of idleidolidyll is influenced by having been on quite a few rides with him and chatted with him at the pub. But, moreso, it is very much influenced by the fact that he was the first person to pick me and my bike up off the road when I got t-boned by a hit-and-run driver. Therefore, I have seen Mike, the more-than-decent human being; not just idleidolidyll, the brusque, political, radical, abrupt and sometimes offensive-for-the-sake-of-being-offensive KB persona. You're right though, Fatt Max, he is fun when you get to know him.

Anyway, this is just some random postulating on a Sunday morning. As you were.

And what clarity for a Sunday morning. I have the pleasure of having met some of my closest friends through KB and interestingly, a good number of them I "got off on the wrong foot" with first off through online wars. The infamous Mikey being the first that comes to mind.

Christ, even CFWB and Katman would probably get on alright.......

So, just to be clear, is this thread about lamenting the abscense of III or trying to draw out a successor? Either way, :2thumbsup:2thumbsup:2thumbsup

Oh yeah, I am aware that I spelt abscense wrong.
