hey i had a leaking rear shock for the last couple of months do you think it will make it to the brass monkey and back about 800kms the rear seems a lot softer but if i take it easy i shoul be right ?

Needless to say you're risking your own personal safety and that of other road users. If you took your bike for a warrant right now it would fail.
It also sets off a chain of other events. Aside from the obvious loss of damping ( and therefore chassis control / stability ) oil is also in the shock as a lubricant. The bladder also expands to compensate for the continual loss of oil and have been known to burst in such scenarios.
