i registered ages ago--this is my first time posting!!
I rode dirtbikes as a kid. my first toy was a lil' red 100cc honda. :woohoo:
ah the nostalgia thinking about it! i've probably got more scars and stories from that than anything else growing-up.
Last year I decided it was time to give into my desires and get a proper street bike. Was missing the sound of the wind rushing by, the feel of the handlebars vibrating in my hands, and the openness of the road far too much in the comfort of a saloon. lol.
my "new" baby is an 87 Kawasaki EL 250. and she's doing me well so far despite all her personality. It was mostly trial and error learning just how far I could go (or couldn't go  ) on a tank of petrol.

She'll get me by until I earn my full license. Then I'll pass her on to the next student of the road, and graduate to something a little better suited for some good distance riding.
A little bit more about me:
I'm currently focused on becoming a runner and participating in races
I just got back from a holiday in China where I toured the country eating everything that was too slow to get away!
I'm passionate about food and cooking, enjoying a cold beer on a hot day, and listening to stories about days gone by.
I love playing tennis, table tennis, and 8-ball.
That's about all I can think of for an introduction. Cheers for reading, hope to see some of you out there!!
