Good report Wharfy. Were you distracted while buttoning up the front end? Have you any photos of Katie giving you support? Sorry, couldn't resist.

They were still there - just not tight
Still I'm in good company, didn't Stroudy loose his brakes 'cause they hadn't been tightened properly ?
I don't think I'll be able to make Greymouth this year - The last round of the winter series is on October 29th - Still you never know :)

Well one of the few advantages in getting old is you learn to adjust your attitude to match your talent (or lack of). :)
The other is I can pretend to be a "has been" - most people can't be arsed to check up and find out I'm a never was :)

It's not about the winning till you win a race, and then you realise it really is about the winning, and having a good victory dance ready for the pits afterwards.

Even though an SV may not be as sexy, they make up for it in terms of fun! You'd be guaranteed a battle with someone in the F3/Pro-Twin races.
I happen to have two Pro-Twins for sale and at two affordable prices...
Seriously though, good report - see you at round 2!

Congrats on your full page write up in the Bikerider Dan. You are now officially famous. Should help you get some traction for a Superstock ride. Fingers crossed someone steps up to give you a hand.:woohoo:

Good write up Wharfy and welcome to the world of spare rim ownership!
Now you just need to trade up to something with a single sided swinger.... Soooo much easier to swap rims!

Practise in the shower, just to keep yourself limber in case you accidentally win something.:woohoo: You might find winning the occasional warm up lap will keep the spirit alive. I usually get a trophy for first into the Ambulance but I can't in good conscience recommend it. Bit hard to dance with a morphine drip in your arm and two broken legs,,but I've seen it attempted.:wari:

I won the "first into the ambulance" award at the first methven street race last year.
Lost the "mr popularity contest" for holding up the meeting before it had hardly started:innocent:
