I want to stick a digital clock and temperature thingymajig on the ZZR6, anyone done something like this? Only has to be back lit and would want water resistance but, could stick it in a little case
If you've done it, what did you use, where did ya get it and what does it look like?
I think it'll be a nice little touch, handy too :scooter: Can't hurt adding more weight to the 200kg beast

I had one on my last bike (Firestorm) - it had a digital voltmeter/clock (http://www.jaycar.co.nz/productView.asp?ID=XC0118&CATID=24&form=CAT&SUBCATID=669), as the bike didn't come with a clock, and I'd had problems with the R/R and battery. It was only water resistant, but a bit of silicon aorund the edges of the body and where the wires were fixed that. I bought it from Jaycar Electronics. They also have a similar clock/thermometer (http://www.jaycar.co.nz/productView.asp?ID=XC0116&CATID=24&form=CAT&SUBCATID=669), but you'd need to chcnge the plug, unless you've got a cigarette lighter socketr on your bike.
Oxford do one. Bloody good. Waterproof (or resistent but good enough). I brought one for wifey for her old ninja and she loved it. Had some velcro on the back and she grabbed it whenever she left her bike. Sometimes she forgot about it but no one ever theifed it it looked like it was permanent. I think it even has a blinking warning when the temp gets too low.

Those Jaycar ones look fairly neat, might pop in to Jaycar tomorrow and see what's what.
An Oxford one? Google time, cheers
