Contemplating one of these beasties.
Anyone who owns either the X300 JD or the GTH from Husqvarna, I would appreciate feedback.
In fact anyone owning a ride on that does a good job on slopes, let me know - keen to hear your experiences.
Most of the US forums owners have flat sections and they are just fat lazy types.
Am after something that can do around the house - normally a two hour push-mow with the sloping meadow included. Occasionally out into the paddocks with a purpose built trailer for paddock work approximately 10,000 sq/m.

After countless hours reading about them, the better of the two with a comparable price were:
John Deere X300 38 to 54 inch deck options and free 10P trailer and knobbly tyres for slopes. 12 Guage pressed steel decks. 18hp Kawasaki Motor.
Husqvarna GTH2754TDF 54 inch deck fabricated steel 11 gauge deck. B and S 27hp motor.
HP is not nearly as important as torque when it comes to ride on mowers working hard.

Nice, but would be a bit tricky around the house lawn area mate!

Way cool! Knowing you we'll wait for the upgrades and bling, like the front and rear spoilers, LED running lights, sports exhaust, mags... :innocent:

It just wouldn't be me without that now would it!
I sold the idea because it means more free time for the family.
