Just wondering if anybody does this?
My aim is to race (clubmans first, then, depending on how that goes, whatever else next). I'm slowly (slowly) getting myself up to race pace. I've done all the California Superbike School levels and attended numerous track days now, but I feel that I have plateaued somewhat. I know I can go faster (and I am getting faster in small increments) but I'm not making the leaps and bounds I did when I first did CSS. Also, I think I really need a hand understanding bike set-up; particularly suspension.
I went to Hampton Downs today; and today the 'fast-medium' group (in which I've just started being a regular in) and the 'fast' group were combined. Now, I know it's good to ride with riders faster than you, as that helps you get faster yourself when you watch their lines and try to match their corner speed and whatnot, but the speed at which the racers were passing me — and where they were passing me — completely blew me away. Literally and figuratively.
So, yeah, I'm just wondering if anybody here knows of anyone who does coaching or mentoring in Auckland.
