A bloody hot day. I certainly didn't envy the guys and gals in their full leathers. Lots of nice bikes to look at in their setup tents, then seeing them race around the track.. Will be out there again tomorrow for the official practice for qualification but I’m working on Sunday when the actual racing starts :(

What?

Well, I did go on Sunday. Shame not many others did!! Reckon there must be lots of attractions like play stations at home (get a life!!!):o
For those who had a good reason for not going, we witnessed some great dicing in the Supers with Brian Bernard and Andrew Stoud swapping places as fast as you could say their names. The racing was unfortunately punctuated by a rain shower or three, but the good news was the red flags came out instantly when the rain began, so there was no unneccessary dramas on track.
The 600's were also a good show, and in the Posties, for once Vince Sharpe did not have everything his own way.
Sorry to all the R1 fans out there - Tony Rees is still bloody fast through tight stuff, but Puke is a bit lacking in that, and the R1 is a bit lacking down the back straight these days.
There were good fields for all classes except classics (Dave Cole's Matchbox was a beautiful sight), but Spectator fields were dismal to say the least. Bloody shame, coz no spectators means no sponsors means no prizes means high entry fees means less entries means less spectators etc etc etc :(
