:( I've had my bike for sale for a while now and while there have been many views and a few watchers no-one has made me an offer so far. It's now time to buy a new car, we've sold our much lamented Pulsar. It was sad to see it go, but it went to a nice young couple who've recently had a baby and wanted a reliable small car. They were stoked to get all the original papers and service records as we'd owned it from new and looked after it.

So I've had to either walk or use the MX5 which, while reasonably comfy once into it, is a mission to get in and out of, so must remain our toy for occasional use.

I've been offered a trade on the bike for a new car, but of course the price is well below what I want, so if anyone is interested in the C50T, I'll take offers over $8k.:weep: Our helmets and gear are still negotiable in the sale, but I want to sell the helmets as a pair with the Blueant Intercoms.

Rego on hold and only needs a driving lamp bulb for a WoF. I'd be happy to get it a WoF for the new owner, but reluctant to register it at this price...

Give me a PM, or text or call on 021-173 0379. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=342560393

I'm sure you have explored all options. I was thinking about back protection and wondered if you could carry on riding with a custom made fully reinforced upper body protector of some sort. just seems a shame to have to sell your pride and joy.:weep:

Just a thought.
Rick.

If it was just me I'd probably take the risk, or at least try the bike to see how it feels, but even the MX5 can jar my back over the sharper bumps and with a wife and family to consider, and taking the Doctors' blunt warnings into account, the risk of winding up a pareplegic is very real. As it is, my long term prognosis is not too flash even with the best of care.

Thanks mate! That actually means a lot to me. Once a biker, always a biker, though, eh? Can't imagine giving up KB... :scooter:

I've just been red repped for posting in the wrong section. I thought about it before posting, but if this should be in online trading, could a mod either move it or let me know?

Why would someone red rep you for that? LAME :tugger: I would think this thread is about more than just advertising the bike... Poor you Ed, but I agree that the risk of becoming a paraplegic is too high and yes you have to consider your family's feeling too.

Yeah, that's why I posted it here, but not to worry. Thanks for the kind words. I do rather prefer being verticle and upright, I've spent too much time in a wheelchair, don't wanna go back to one!

I think Mom might be too much punishment for him, it was only a minor offense, (offense? Get it..?)
