Finally, the big day arrived.
got home from work and shortly afterward my 'early 80's Z1000Ltd arrived in the driveway. I was not expecting this and was slightly overwhelmed by it! Sadly, I do feel somewhat like a non-custodial parent with weekend visiting rights as I am under instructions to not take it out of town and to have it back at the mechanics on Monday.
Still...this has been a moment I've been waiting on since mid 2007, so I'll take my joys where I can thankyouverymuch!
I'll post some pix on Sunday just to prove that it really happend.
yippee!

Nice. I take it there's a rebuild to complete, what's still to do?

Suspect the carbs at least are tolerably important.
Hope you get some miles on it tomorrow eh?

Working on the pics. But good news is that Henry is home to stay.
Well until he breaks down and has to visit the mechanic again anyway.
Has had a thorough inspection of some very private bits, replaced bits that needed it ( and some which didn't ) and is so nice to ride with modern shocks!
Big grin and a very happy rodent!
