what an unusual request....you want an AX100 and prefer it being road legal?
Could I ask 'why'? common uses of this machine are bucketing - hence not needing road gear. Or very cheap commuter - there are other (better) commuters available for 1k.

Anyway, I dont mean to criticise or hijack your thread.

Just letting you know - I have most of the parts needed to get an AX100 roadworthy....if you find a bucket version for sale. (Mine is not).

Just need a cheap reliable commuter, Jaffa. Any suggestions/recommendations would be good. Need to commute 50k each day, mostly on rural roads into town then back out. I used to have a AX as my first bike many years ago, had it for 3 years, the only thing i had to do to it was put petrol and oil in it. I traded that in on an even older GT 250 which was a ton fun when warmed up and full of avgas(Gave the guys on vfr400s a run for their money), but always needed money spent on it. Anyway any advice would be appreciated. Also Str8 i am not permitted to PM anyone yet, is there any other way to contact Koba?> Cheers

Or from a different perspective:
AX100's are Awesome wee buckets...when they are in mint condition, reliable as Hell, and cost $500 complete with all spares to keep em going for a season or three.
But yeah, not the quickest wee thing. Skinny wheels. and soft suspension.
Still.....A hell of a lot of FUN for such a small investment.
