We were swamped by about 20+ 'arleys yesterday while at a favorite biker pub.
Some nice looking gear parked up at all angels..
T'was the Hells Angels...
I was particularly taken with the Night Rod and Muscle that were there.
Got talking to a couple of them and I must say, they were pretty cool about it.
I didnt know that the Muscle was a 1250? thought perhaps a 1600 but what do I know...
...anyway, as far as gang members go these chaps were (on the day) just bikers like the rest of us.
I put off our ride on saturday cos' of the pending weather which failed to pend!
The H A's said they did the same.:girlfight:
The ones I spoke to were only to willing to answer any questions about their bikes..

Well, how inconvenient. This will not fit with a lot of peoples' perceptions at all.
So just to make sure, when you got home, there were no chains with fingers still attached hanging off the back of your vehicle?

Alot of "our" perception of gangs come from the propaganda machine known as 'the media', when in actual fact, as long as your not "fucking with them" or part of a rival gang, as a general rule they're usually quite alright (face value, person to person of course, some of their, umm "interests" may not be so "alright").

Yep. I've always had pretty much the same experience too.
It would have to be the common interest being bikes, I wouldn't be too keen on rocking up to a bunch of patched blokes wearing red or blue and say gidday.

Which is why I said....''as far as gang members go these chaps were (on the day) just bikers like the rest of us''.

They aren't a gang. They are a motorcycle club.
What were you asking them, to find out they would only talk about their bikes?
