Well I've finally had to put the Street up for sale as I've only got a few weeks left in NZ. Much loved bike that I wouldn't be selling if I wasn't going to OZ.

Priced very reasonably at $10,750 (ono) and that is before you take into account all of the extras.

It is a really great looking bike (especially with the blue flame exhausts) that always gets attention at the bike meets. Most people who've seen it in Welly have commented on its looks and on how good it sounds.

Bike is up on Trademe with a few more pics: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=386343170&ed=true

Here is the blurb:

Awesome looking late 2008 (November) Triumph Street Triple, well maintained and with lots of extras included.

The Triumph Street Triple is the bike that wins all of the mid-range naked group tests and has been MCN bike of the year a couple of times, and all for good reason.

It is considered the perfect all round bike to many owners. Easy to live with yet exciting when you want it to be.

It really is like having two bikes: under 6,000rpm it is a capable around town, cruisey, commuter bike to ride but take it over 6,000 and it turns into a roaring sports bike that just loves the twisties and will give larger cc bikes a run for their money.

This bike comes with the following extras included:
Triumph Flyscreen Kit (RRP $499)
Triumph Smoked Visor (RRP $150)
Snakeskins Tank Pad (RRP $25)
Snakeskins Gripster Pads (RRP $80)
Osram Nightbreaker HID bulbs (RRP $25)
DID Gold XY 525 Racing Chain (RRP $299)
Renthal Racing Gold Front and Rear Sprockets (RRP $99)
Scotoiler V System (RRP $239)
K&N Airfilter (RRP $170)
Evotech Radiator Guard (RRP $209)
Personalised License plate "ST X3" (RRP $300)
Blue Flame Satin Black Tri-Oval Dual Port Exhausts (RRP circa $1,000+*)

So as you can see there is about $3k worth of extras on the bike thrown in for free, all professionally done and add to the bikes feel and looks.

* The Tri-ovals are no longer available from Blue Flame (business partners fell out). These exhausts sound awesome and perfectly fit the look of the Street Triple. They are dual ports which allows you to set four different exhaust note levels. (Sound clips available on you tube).

Triumph original exhausts are also included in the sale. I have also put a Speed Triple throttle grip on it (shorter twist).

Currently has a set of Michelin Pilot Powers on with about half tread remaining.

Bike has been maintained from new by Motorad in Wellington.

Genuine reason for selling. Test rides available with photo ID and deposit.

Any questions just give me a ring (021 226 8070) or send me a PM.

I'm confused, but that's normal. Especially with a couple of red wines in my gullet!

Nah, at high revs "mental" nicely sums up the sound (and I still have the lower plugs in) - at lower revs it is a lovely deep tone with nice pops on the over-run.

Not sure I've ridden with you Black Stig, apologies if I'm wrong - there are a lot of people on the Wellington meets at times.
