Nissan Terrano td27. Which alternator does it have?

Buying a 95 terrano with a stuffed alternator, but apparently there are 2 alternators for this car.

both are 70amp but with either a 35cc or 50cc vacuum pump. How do i figure out which one I need?

Also anyone know a place that sells reconditioned alternators for a bit cheaper than the new price ($400)

take alternator off and bring it to an auto electrician....

Yeah .. there's a good one on the corner of Puketapu Road and Devonshire Place in Taradale ..

apparently these particular alternators are pretty had it, and need to be replaced according to an auto spaky

so after a while ringing around, it turns out that the 50cc is fully interchangeable with the 35cc one.

and i happend to find a new one in nz for at least $100 cheaper than anywhere else :D
