Opitcle illusion, moments prior it was noted that the rider was was not being vigilant whilst riding in traffic. Avoidable? yes.

that was totally avoidable by the rider, there were heaps of information that car was going to do that.
Never trust a cage driver changing lanes on a multi lane road.
I would have been fingering the brake at his first lane change, just in case.

The car was coming across the lane, with no sign of it remaining in the right hand lane ... the bike seemed to speed up to block it ... not a wise move on a bike ... even if the law is on your side ...

Bikes fault.

A car behaving like that - get past or get out of there. Don't sit in the blind spot

What a bunch of PC tosh.

The car driver was moron who should be shot.

The bike rider was a dumbass who needs to learn how to watch out for morons.

What they said, It was obvious the car was changing lanes without a care in the world.

The car was in the wrong. Too bad the motorcyclist could have avoided the crash and didn't.

It looks like the rider did this deliberately. The car was clearly moving left. The rider had heaps of time to avoid and didn't. What did the pillock think was going to happen?

Just goes to show having Alpinestar gear, a sports bike and a helmet cam don't mean you are a good rider.

Riding safely in traffic is as much an indicator of riding skill as knowing how to corner fast and the rider came off because he either wasn't paying attention (which means he should not have been on a bike), didn't know how to read other road users - the car driver was quite obviouslt moving across the lanes and was always going to move into that lane, and cars have HUGE blind spots right where the bike was. Parking in a car's blind spot in traffic is like trying to do a wheelstand on an icy road - guaranteed off.

And yes, the car driver was probably legally in the wrong, but he has a scratch on one guard and drove home whereas the bike is broken and the rider will have some aches and pains despite the gear. If he doesn't lift his skill and attitude level he needs to sell his Alpinestar gear and use the money to buy a lifetime bus pass.

+1

Cage driver in his own world as normal and the bike rider must of been in his own too.

Pillock for letting it happen, and also for posting it on the net. Now his Insurance Company is looking at the video and asking the same questions we've been asking.

"Why weren't you riding in an appropriate manner and why didn't you avoid the accident? Claim declined!"

Fault is not an instant ... claim denied ...

however ... it is instant premium increase ...
