Anyone want one of these?

In a moment of weakness I bought one of these in Cycletreads' one day sale (you fool!). For $250 (included shipping). For some reason I though I might like one.

Well a dose of buyer's remorse didn't stop it arriving. I've had a look at it and decided I can't be arsed hooking it up and generally farting around putting it on and off, plugging it in - all that yaddayadda. Besides, it's only my upper arms and thighs that feel the cold. Don't really have a "core temperature" problem anyway.

So I reckon I should sell it on - admittedly at a loss but what the hell - someone might like it...

Rightyho - details.

Exo Stormrider heated vest (no arms, just trunk).
Size Medium.
Plugs into the battery (wiring included) or you can buy a battery pack for it ( I didn't get one).
Brand new, never used, only arrived last week. I have tried it on for size but that's all.

Yours for $200. Or make me an offer I can't refuse...

A bit of a dredge, but these are nice vests, and after some research, I concluded that if you're buying one, these are the ones to have. Previous iterations of these were OEM'd to BMW as equipment.

Unfortunately for you Mr Slofox, I do have one already (but I have bumped your thread). I would highly recommend the additional controller, as while it's supposed to self-regulate, I still got a couple of blisters from it being too hot... I've got the controller installed as well now.

Bump appreciated Gremlin. I suppose I could plug the thing in - there are still free connectors in the distribution box...

Not sure I like the idea of being wired to the bike though...no doubt, in the case of a sudden "departure" it would probably cause minimal problems...

Well...yeah. True all the same.

But I do that with the wines I sell here as well. If I have the odd dud, if people ask me what it's like I'll tell 'em..."Don't buy it - it tastes like shit." If, on the other hand, they bring it to the counter and don't ask about it, I just shut up and sell it...

Fortunately I don't have many duds...
