Hey,

I have purchased a set of rims from the UK but just working out the best way to get them home.

Anyone had dealings with shipping from UK to NZ... anyone traveling back from uk and want to add a checked package?

If you have the weight and package dimensions, try here http://sg.royalmail.com/portal/rm/PriceFinder?catId=23500532&gear=pricingcalc&forcesegment=SG-Personal

If it's loo large, ask the seller to arrange shipping.

Just had someone send me some carbs, they used Royal Mail Parcel Force. Cheap, track n traced, took less than 10 days.

Parcel Force is a rip off big time for anything larger than a shoebox or so, a lot more expensive than NZ Post.
Contact Jimmy M, apparently he ships shit around the place (does he still do this???) or Mainfreight International and sort it from here. Way cheaper.
Mainfreight international are really helpful and can do door to door or depot to door, etc.
I just sent an RS125 engine, 19.8kg incl box to Brisbane, airfreight for $150. Took 3 days as I recall.
They use TNT for small items, so maybe contact TNT directly.

interparcel website is good for arranging international freight

when buying from the uk you need to get them sent directly to nz and avoid the 20% vat

also be wary of the gst you are going to get lumbered with when they arrive in nz
