Honda's Golden boy who never really delivered all that he claimed. Whilst the kid has unbelievable talent, he does lend himself to critisism he deserves. As above, the Nicky Hayden thing, also the fact that he pretty much got his way in the repsol garage in terms of development (nicky couldn't even fit on the bike properly cos it was designed for a midget).
Love the bit where he says "Next time I am with him I will decide what to do but I will not be nice," whats he going to do? draw a mustasche on his picture? I bet semenjelly is shaking in his boots!

Nicky Hayden is underrated. The more you look into his title win in 06 the more you see it was a true champions win. Everyone looks at it as the title that Rossi lost, but that isn't true.

Anyone that thinks that he was gifted it is full of shit. Rossi was the one that binned it under pressure when it mattered most. Pressure Hayden had built up with a great season, despite his own team mate trying to wreck it for him. I think when they go back to the Thous, we'll be seeing more of the old Nicky Hayden.

I'm no fan of Pedrosa (mostly 'cos of that Puig toe-rag) but Simo's record speaks for itself....and it ain't good. So Pedrosa fucked up back in 2006, Simo's done it damn near every single weekend this season....farkin' big difference.
You guys need to get ya heads outta the hairdressing magazines: a cool hair do and fast qualifying laps are good for fuckall if ya can't finish a bloody race.
For example, what if it was rider doing the same in NZSBK? If say Choppa stuck it on pole but crashed every round of next years NZSBK and took out Bugden and Stroud in consecutive weekends you'd all be dragging him out to the back of the pits for a not so quiet word. Yet, you defend this guy? Your nuckin' futs! :weird:

Sorry mate...HUGE difference! In my opinion, THE worst, most amateurish crash you can have/do, is barrelling up the inside of some poor cunt with no way in fucking hell of making the corner and torpedoing the poor cunt into the gravel. That's what PEDROSA did, and there's no fucking excuse for it, especially at that level.
As wild as he is...and don't get me wrong...he's an accident waiting to happen...but I ain't seen Simo do that to any one of his opponents this season. So those guys know what he's like. So why would you get anywhere near the wild fucker...especially anywhere NEAR the outside of him during a race? You'd have to pull a clean pass under the picks, and fuck off...or simply fuck off right from the start...or let him go! But get near him at your own peril!!! I don't really see anything wrong with that.
No argument Simo is fuckin' quick I just don't think he's earned the adulation that you ol' bugger's (hang on that's me too!) hang on him.
I save my adulation for the winners...he ain't there YET! We all know it won't be long now though...
Either that, or some crazed Spanish fan will stab him to death with a rusty spoke.

Now we are in TOTAL AGREEMENT! OK, they've sorted some nice systems suitable for road bikes, all well and good. Now fuck it off and lets get back to the real business of finding out the best rider on the best bike. A few less engineers and laptops in the paddock would be cheaper and better racing = WIN WIN!

It doesn't matter how many riders superjelly puts out... riders are like bikes, we can always get more of them.
However, given that he's a little bit of a dickhead that can't stop taking other riders with him, it would be fair to level the playing field and make it a free for all (i.e. no penalty for bashing/crashing/pushing/barging). Or, better still, get rid of the riders and figure out how to get the bikes to ride themselves.

Personally I believe that GP racing has finally become a bit more interesting. Over the majority of the 800 era it has been a matter of wondering where the dominating top 4/5 riders will end up on the podium. With the exception of the odd Rossi/Stoner - Rossi/Lorenzo battle, many races have been a relative procession.
Spies taking a win and all the handbag swinging of late, have only made it all the more exciting from a spectator perspective.

Biaggi doesn't come across that well in public does he? I think he has bouts of short mans syndrome. I've met him a couple of times and he was really laid back. It may just be that as he gets older, like myself, the level to which you will take someone elses bullshit gets considerable lower. He ate a shitload of humble pie going to the supers, and staying on to defend his championship was a gutsy call for the old roman. His weakness IMHO is that it's really easy to get in his head and fuck with his race concentration. When that happens he falls apart like a Skoda rally car. That being said, I like him. Simo's a crazy bastard, what's not to like? You just just don't want him behind you at turn 1. Mind you, that sort of intimidation was used succesfully by crazy Nori too. Mind phucked many a racer wondering what they were going to do next.

Simo is a cocky young shit who doesn't know where the boundaries are. But he isn't egotistical, unlike Max.

Erm...naw...he was the Roman Emperor because he was from erm....Rome and Rossi wasn't.
On a 250, Biaggi was better than everyone 5 world champs...who wouldn't be arrogant? A few years back when he did his WRC stint, a New Zealand chef told me just what an arrogant little bastard Rossi is when he's out the public eye. :bye:

I had the opportunity to meet a couple of my idols back in the late 90,s at a press day when they came to ride some very fast drag bikes for fun/promotion.

I agree entirely. Kevin was just one of the guy's that weekend and was having a great time. He did have his race face on though for the battles with Dave Cole. I overheard him telling Mr Mckintosh about a footlever setting that wasn't right. He was pretty serious. Absolutely bloody awesome to have these guy's floggin bikes in our humble back yard.
