Travelling Europe next year - Maybe buy my bike

Well, looking at travelling around Europe next year for 2 months (June/July) and i had this bright idea of buying a bike off ebay UK and riding it around and then selling it as they have some great deals. Anyway, though this would be cool and was wondering if anyone would want to buy the bike off me when i'm done and do there own trip? I'm looking at spending 1-1500 pounds and i'm not to fussy on the bike.

I'm planning to ride to Slovakia and back. Haven't done a route yet, but UK to Italy, ferry across to Croatia up to Slovakia and back via Norther Europe. Looking at 5000km's though i haven't done the exact sums

Do it. i bought a bmw 650 crapduro in london for 700 quid and got 750 quid for it when i got back. plus the 16000 kms.

You can buy bikes in the uk and sell them in eastern europe for a profit and fly back and get another if you like. makes an interesting trip.

Im getting my visas sorted now. Going to Japan., buy bike, ferry to Vladivostok, then head for Volgograd, Georgia, Ukraine and about 20 other countries.
Not using a half trail half road thing. Using a proper touring bike.
Similar trip to yours but Im staying in Europe and staying on the sealed roads.

Maybe a bit more than most would be wanting to pay for a 2 or 3 month holiday bike, but if anyone is interested I have a 2007 Hayabusa in Prague with hard cases for sale that has done me proud for the last couple of years. I would be keeping it, however have a 1 month old daughter which really precludes riding for me. I'd be looking for around 12k NZ for it

I did. And Im doing it again 2013. By myself of course. All my pussy mates said it was Too dangerous, too far , But it wasn't.
