Just picked my bike up today after a service and a few bits and pieces from the team at MOTORAD WELLINGTON and what can I say, the service experience is second to none. The workshop team headed by Michael and with techs like Steve and the rest of the gang have a total technical experience of 60 years and more in the trade and boy do they know their stuff. You can tell these guys are keen motorcyclists and their attention to detail is great, just like every bike is their own. Of course that's not all, the spare parts team headed by Ben a keen bucket and road racer and backed up by Anne-Marie are passionate about their part of the business with a wealth of knowledge on all things with two wheels and the gear to match. Bike sales - you're more than likely to be meeted by Glen Holden a keen off road rider and he knows his way around road bikes too. Carl's always there with a smile and keen to talk to you about your motorcycle needs whether it be on road or off or even a good yarn about his passion vintage motorcross. Brendon of course is a keen off road rider and knows his stuff when it comes to off road machines and which trails to burn.

So if your after a tyre, service, gear or a new bike Motorad Wellington is the place to go for quality service that's second to none, just tell them Fish sent you.

Cheers guys Motorad has my vote:rockon:

Good to hear another positive experience about a bike shop... I heard a quote about Motorad Wellington once.

"Great service with none of the negative attitude." Too fucking true.

I can also highly recommend them.

Is this a Wellington 'thing'?
Seems welly shops often get good reviews....but the majority of Auckland ones. Well...

I guess...at least Auckland has the better 'local' riding spots?

Yep Motorad are good bastards! I bought my second road bike off them and they did me a great deal on bike + gear and made sure everything was good to go and ready and waiting for me to pick up. Very impressed.

Though, apart from one shop which I don't bother with we have some great shops in Welly.
