You know someone in Minneapolis USA who could look at a bike for me?

I am considering bringing in a bike from Minneapolis in USA. My contact that was prepared to have a look for me can now not do it. So I have three options:

1. Forget about it (not really wanting to do this)

2. Trust the seller (seems very trustworthy, but still...)

3. Find someone else who can have a look.

So before I need to decide between "Forgetting about it" or "Trusting the seller" I will try to see if I can find someone who would be prepared to have a look for me.

If you have a contact/know someone who would be prepared to have a look (and knows something about bikes) please leave message here/PM me. I would be happy to pay a fee for the help.

Can't help straight up. However if you join an American bike forum, particularly one for the make of bike, you'll probably find someone helpful. I was helped with a completely non-bike related enquiry on DucatiMS. Lots of good people out there.

If you can get it to Denver end of August/early September, I'll do it....

Maybe contact a bike shop in the area to do a pre-purchase on your behalf (you pay, etc)

I am hoping that the bike is on the boat by then...
And yep, my next plan is to contact a bike shop.

Not sure what I can do for you but I'll throw it out there. I live near Helena, Montana, US. Looks like a thousand miles or 16 hours to Minny. Spent the last previous 24 years near Denver, CO. I will be going to work for a Kawasaki/Suzuki/Polaris dealership in a few days also if that will be a resource for you. My contact info you can get off of profile if you need to call or email.

Anytime I can be of any service from this side let me know. KB is the best bike site for riders I know of and has been a tremendous resource over the last few years. Still keeps me laughing, too.
