 geezzz Mike your pets are classic & new pup a cutie .. yeah pretty good here just ole horse causing a few headaches at mo
she got sick bout 10 days ago & now on holiday at friends beach ppty, out there today to check on them after their carrots the silly toad got down to roll & went right over so ended laying feet slightly up hill .. fark me could not roll her back over myself even though cell was almost flat managed to get workmates hubby (non horsey person) to help with some manpower to help roll her back over down hill, think she was embarrassed as she got up & took off as soon as she was righted.
at least she did not panic & did not thrash about when we rolled her back (used the belly straps of her cover) & got her righted jst before the rain hit & then hail .. blinken animals huh

Same with ours. He watches the TV any time there is a dog. His vision definately follows it.
None of numerous other dogs I've owned did this.
Maybe its the Hi Def TV's they can deal with better.

When I was a kid our pet Labrador always seemed to know when the old man was due home. We thought maybe he could hear the train pulling out of the local station. Can't remember how we figured it out but we eventually realised he was "activated" by the theme tune to the Six O'Clock News.

Not sure Dave, our previous Border Collie never bothered looking at the Tele once in his life, this guy gets told off that many times in a night for snapping at whatever animals on there its not funny,dogs/cows/fish no matter he watches them all.And as i said things like the New World clever baskets.......just had to tell him off then for trying to bite the chickens on "close up":facepalm:The Mrs said after watching the clip "ohh hes gorgeous',The dog, lol.

Yikes! I cringed at that. Glad to hear he's recovered.
I had a tomcat years when I was a boy on the farm which got caught in a rabbit trap. Somehow he managed to get the pin out of the ground and limp back home half a mile through fences with the trap on his leg. He disappeared and about 3 days later I found him under the henhouse.
He lived. Useless front leg but tough as nails. Respect to your tom.
