Sounds Funawesome

Could D Dub start arrowing it from the end of my driveway?

I don't get out much and I'm worried I might get lost.

Sure but I think bread crumbs would be better than arrows.

No we have made this one easier this time.

Pity.

Still, I'm prepared to enjoy myself, you always lay on a good ride!

What are you actually saying here Crisis?

What are you actually saying here Crisis?

You're expecting coherency?

I always enjoy (and curse) the expert deviations and it's a pity to make them too easy as the challenge goes out of them. It will always be difficult to set the balance between challenge and impossible on those parts as the riders skills (and expectations) vary. I don't envy the likes of Billaroo having to mark out and make these decisions.
For me, a good expert section is one I can't get through on the first attempt each time round. I'm an average rider so I expect to be sitting on my arse quite a few times on a ride, if I aren't then I'm not learning anything.

See you there on sunday?

See you there on sunday?

Yes absolutely will be, hopefully with at least 1 of the sons but otherwise I'll hitch a ride with a mate and his boy. Agree with you about the course challenging us... the last couple have been a great balance. I also agree about testing myself... I usually test myself till I get a bit too personal with a tree or a bank then slow down to sensibility! Reality is a bitch. You're on a 2t orange beast I remember but what colour gear, I'll say hello.

I stand out with my marvelous fashion sense.....200 EXC with a mixture of orange and white panels....blue shirt & helmet. Last bumped into each other at sniper alley at the tussock buster?

Cheers

Yep, what he said. Me & Mr 8 enjoyed the 2 short loops but I couldn't get him to go on the intermediate. Maybe a bit much for a 70 anyway? Still, we used our day-pass to good effect - cheers WMMC. Again next month? With the weather?

Same again.... great ride and lots of variety, thoroughly enjoyed myself and had a good flail around the loops, somehow I managed to get a nail in the rear tyre (how do you do that in the middle of a forest?) which I didn't notice until I got back to the car, well stuffed tube with bits poking out of the rim.
That put paid to the afternoons entertainment. :bye:

Thanks again Waitemata!

Four laps of the 25 kay loop and 1 of the 10 kay, and im shattered. Had a lovely time, and sign on was super fast, with that computer system.

So that's who it was, I had to get off to check the bike was still running. :shit: He was certainly moving and has a very fluid riding style, in a fit of stupidity I tried to keep up which lasted about 5 seconds.
