Hey everyone

I just got off the phone to Aaron (Barty5) and got the full run down on what has happened.

So there is a group of little cunts going around with stolen cheques, and buying bikes. Its actually pretty smart what they do and it could easily fool anyone.

What they do is they use a stolen cheque to deposit money into your bank account at the bank. These funds show up in your bank account, but you can't move them as they aren't cleared funds.

So unless its a bank cheque or cash in your hands, don't hand over a thing to anyone. The ring of the guys doing this at the moment is fairly large and they were doing cars, but are focusing on bikes at the moment. I'd say it because it probably very easy to move a stolen bike, but quite hard to move a stolen car.

With luck, the banks will be on their case too as stolen cheques is a fairly serious offence.

Any time.

Have wife or bull terrier to set on them.

Not sure which is scarier.

Ask for a "special answer" when you take the cheque to the bank.
They walk it down to the other bank themselves and cash it.
If it's all good you'll have the money within a few hours for about $12.
