Liquid-cooled 4-stroke 16-valve DOHC inline-4. Electronic fuel injection. 6-speed transmission.
With plenty of power rippling out of the same fuel-injected inline-4 engine originally developed for the legendary Fireblade, the CB900 Hornet has been specially tuned for stronger low to mid range grunt that lights up in an eye opening flash from anywhere in its wide power band.
